Why They Call Me Soup!

 Soup is a nickname was laid on me by a group of friends and is a shortening of an old military term. I passed the BIG 65 but still going strong.  I was born and raised in a small town in Pennsylvania. The U.S. Navy sent me to Oregon in 1974. I fell in love with the area and the people and lived there until my wife and I bought a small 6 acre hobby farm in Central West Virginia and we have that to keep us busy.

I consider myself a jack of all trades but master of none. I am a husband, father, grandfather, guitarist, singer/songwriter, artist, photographer and a generally all around good guy, if I do say so myself.

Yes I have retired from my day job and performing with my band The Love Handles. Design work continues to feed my soul and I will continue as long as I am able.
